today im showing you how i usually disassemble a laptop battery pack to harvest or salvage the 18650 li ion batteries that are inside.also you must measure the voltage of each battery to get an idea if the battery you salvaged is in good condition, although further tests should be done to determine that. most of the times if a battery is discharged below a point,usually 2.5v is the lower limit in some batteries then it will probably be damaged. this way i have always batteries to use in various electronics projects. please be extra carefull when ''playing'' with li-ion or li-polymer batteries beacuse they might overheat or explode if shorted,puntured e.t.c. also use gloves if you see signs of leakage. if you liked this video and helped you consider making a donation (any amount) to help the channel grow.

  new type lg tv led bars - repair - comparison with older ones. in this video im sharing a new kind-type of led bars i found in a tv set brought for repair. the reason for posting this video is that its the first time i see led bars-arrays with large oval diffusers instead of the commonly cyclic. also the new ones (original) had bigger aluminum pcb obviously for better heat dissipation. in this case the symptoms were: blue spots in various areas of the screen , and in some other cases completely blue-purple picture. ------------------------------------------------------------------- if you liked this video and helped you consider making a donation (any amount) to help the channel grow. https://paypal.me/e4all?locale.x=en_US

in this video im showing how i wired my 9501 (T12) soldering iron i bought sometime ago and came as a kit.  caution!! the connector wiring shown in this video might be not compatible with your soldering station so please dont think that this wiring is universal. check your station pinout first or you may damage something.

this is a very usefull circuit if you're building projects powered by batteries.this simple circuit informs you when the battery needs to be recharged by turning on a led.the threshold is set to the desired voltage by a multiturn potentiometer. the only thing you should have in mind is that it doesnt work with red led's,at least with the ones i tryied. i think it has something to do with the very low voltage that red led's need to lit.didnt have the time to experiment further.besides that,the circuit works perfect. components needed: R1= 1k (2,2k if you use smd led) R2= 2.2K U2= TL431 adjustable shunt regulator(can be found very easy in power supplies) PR1=10K potentiometer (for higher precision use multiturn)  LED1= led (not red-didnt work with me) here is a video building it.

a very usefull circuit for every tv technician. this device provides the various voltages we need to test backlight led arrays or single led's.

watch how i assembled a diy power bank kit bought from e-bay.the case can hold 5 batteries 18650 wired all in parallel.the case includes the pcb for the power bank and the casing.(no batteries included).you have to use your own batteries.

inspecting a common failure in many professional speakers.teardown of DYNACORD F150. A very succesfull speaker for many years and very reliable..i managed to find 2 different faults.

a very simple circuit that controlls a dc motor and can change its rotation direction. it uses the L9110 and it doesnt require any external components,only the ic and the necessary conections. The L9110 comes in two packages.DIP8 & SOP8.in the video i used the SOP8 package so i had to use a small pcb adaptor SOP8 TO DIP8 bought from e-bay to make the wiring.. it is ideal for projects that you want to control the direction rotation of a motor using arduino or any other microprocessor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you like this video please hit the like button and share it. ***** please consider subscribing to this channel *****

today in this video i'm testing a low dropout voltage regulator bought from e-bay.  the AMS1117-5 is a fixed voltage low dropout regulator and according to the datasheet can provide 5 volts output at 1amp max .the operating voltage is up to 15volts max. watch the video and please comment: is it worth buying or not? schematics of the circuit under test.

  in this episode im testing various cheap voltmeters to see how accurate they are with a '' High Precision Voltage Reference Module '' bought from e-bay and based on AD584 ic by analog devices. then i'm trying to calibrate the ones that are out of specs.
